This continues to happen and has caused a lot of issue for people - yesterday I ended up 5000 blocks away from my portal in the nether, suffocating in a wall. Many of our servermates are getting tired of it and it's causing play to really slow down. Players have lost gear, life and etc. unnecessarily.
This happens daily to multiple people on our server. Both going from nether to overworld and overworld to nether. When in nether and entering portal and game freezes, you are teleported to the nether using whatever coordinates the overworld portal is at. I was teleported to -3300, 1200 in the nether after the freeze, in a solid wall. I’ve been teleported the opposite way, and been falling from the sky at whatever coordinates the nether portal would be, only I’m in the overworld falling. I play on Xbox but people on the server play on all devices so this is a bedrock bug across all devices.
I have one butcher and one smoker on my mooshroom island. No other beds/workstation for this villager at all (mine is kept on my person). He will not link to the smoker, despite trying to place a new one or breaking his smoker/bed and replacing them. He links with particles to his bed each time but will not link to the smoker. Therefore will not refresh his trades as well. Xbox X, bedrock realm.
Xbox Series X - when pressing up on the left thumb stick, it will jump to the top left box. EX: if you're in a chest, and are trying to move items from your inventory and manually drag them to spots in the chest, when you use the left thumb stick to move it up, it will often jump to the top left item in the chest, and make you pick that up instead of the item in your inventory you're trying to move. Only happens when you press up on the thumb stick.
Confirmed to be happening on Xbox X as well. I do not use mods or texture packs or any add-ons of any sort.
Can confirm this is still happening on 1.19 bedrock. I play on a server so don’t have a seed but just found an acacia village with a hole in the cartographers floor.
This is how copper slab placement is for a roof edge: place slab against the lower section of a block or against another low slab, places fine. Place slab on an upper section of the block, slab still goes to the lower. Try to place one above the incorrectly placed slab and instead of connecting to a block it places in the upper half of an air block next to where you wanted to place it. My video is too big so I put the three pics from the video showing this.
This has been happening on our realm lately, specifically -
Horses or other entities, tamed, tied up with a lead, will disappear if I leave the area and come back. The horse, and the lead, will be gone.
Anything left in a boat, that was previously tamed or interacted with, will disappear if I leave the area and come back.
Leaving the area means leaving the render distance. This happens when I'm only moving in the overworld, and haven't logged out or exited the game at all.
We play on peaceful, so nothing nefarious is happening from hostile creatures. It happens when I'm alone on the realm so it's not from another player.
This is in addition to the mobs that disappear when I log back in to the game (which I feel is the chunk crossing issue possibly, but that is still very much happening).
Confirmed this is still happening. Realms (bedrock), contained villagers on a mooshroom island (so no hostiles spawn) have disappeared since this update. Random lost villagers, beds are still "claimed" because they won't breed new ones unless we break the beds and put them back, so the game still has it linked to a villager that has disappeared. They can't escape, and nothing spawns (or could get in) to the area.
Seems to be increasing in frequency.
latest 1.18 on realms on Xbox.
playing on peaceful (so no zombie or other kills)
have a group of fenced off villagers of a variety of professions about 200 blocks away from anyones base operation.
have been using that area since we started the realm. No issues for a week. Yesterday, maxed out villagers have disappeared when I logged in.
started villager breeding yet again. Nothing seems to make it safe/workable.
Update as of latest Xbox 1.18.1.
playing on realms (so the realm standard render distance)
Had 4 sheep mixed with other animals in a pen put specifically not on a chunk border everyone accounted for. Logged in today and all but 1 sheep were missing. So this is indeed still happening in 1.18 in realms. No other players were on during either time I played (and it is not a player killing anything off either I have all trusted/known people playing with me).
Adding to this, as it most closely what I'm looking for.
My character, using clothing from xbox achievements, often has the clothing peach colored (for now, it's the pants, boots, and quiver for me), and the pants show up as shorts. Xbox one, 1.17 (not the experimental versions). I'll attach a screenshot later today when I am able to.
How to reproduce:
Click on the character creator
Choose any open pants/boots/items
Equip the item
Close out of the character creator, saving your character
Observed Results: Character looks like they are not wearing clothing, or the clothing is a solid color, or is not aligned with the character.
Expected Results: Character should be wearing the clothing and items chosen in the character creator.
After having several sessions without issues we logged in today to have our mobs not only despawned (lost horses, villagers and chickens this time) but also every mob seems frozen. I’ll upload a video as well. This happens before a big crash where it kicks everyone out.
Realms still not fixed. We played yesterday, expecting to be normal, and froze, couldn't access inventory, or break blocks normally. Logged out and back in and our peaceful/neutral mobs had disappeared at an alarming rate. Logged in and horses, llamas, villagers, and cows are all missing in some quantity.
Just added a photo showing someone leaving a realm then all the chats coming in after they were gone. This is very common for me.
This is happening on our realm, which is played on all platforms. Chats are very delayed, showing up after players aren't even in the realm anymore. They work at the very start, then after about 3 messages, nothing for hours. Then all the messages pop up quickly in succession.
Everyone playing on the realm downloaded the hotfix yesterday. Played a bit successfully, then when people started leaving/joining, all mobs on peaceful, except the bees, were frozen - cats, villagers, cows, sheep, rabbits. I could still play normally otherwise, break blocks, build, fish, etc., but nothing fixed the other issue, including logging out, quitting minecraft, restarting my xbox, restarting my internet, etc.
Just tried to play about an hour ago. Was fine (no lag and the mobs seemed to be working again) but when I logged out, it kicked all other players out, and reverted our game about 30 minutes back, not saving the latest progress. I think there are still issues with realms right now.
Hello - I have not noticed this issue on vanilla since around September.
