This issue appears to be persistent through 1.20. In fact, the load order for resource packs seems to be bugged in general, regarding textures.
Here is what I have found:
I use the marketplace "Faithful" texture pack as a base and then I have my own customizations that I place above it in a load order. My customization pack contains edits to textures, text names, and music disc audio. When loading these two resources together in a local world, everything runs smoothly. When I try to run these resources together in my 10-player Realm, the Faithful pack textures override my customizations, even though they are above it on the load order. However, the text name changes and the music disc audio remain unaffected. This issue seems to lie exclusively with the textures, regardless of load order.
If you use two marketplace texture packs in a realm, the highest most one will load correctly. However, I have noticed performance issues as if the realm tries to load both texture packs. I've tried playing around with multiple json files regarding textures to no effect.
Edit: Forgot to mention that my custom pack also changes painting textures, which still override the Faithful pack when the other textures do not.
Things weird. If I click with a little bit negative y-offset (means go down a little bit) from the three dots button. The `Edit` button will be trigger 🙂
Dhranios, what platform do you play on? I'm on PC and there's no suggestions for block states. When I type the opening square bracket [ all I get suggested is: 'destroy', 'hollow', 'keep', 'outline', 'replace'.
I attempted to mitigate the lag by removing all item frames and armor stands, minecarts with hoppers and literally bringing visuals to the lowest of the low in my single survival game and even then it was quite unplayable. I have experienced a lot of the issues mentioned by the posters above. This is on a ps4.
Same issue here, exit code 255 on MacOs, and exit code -1 on Windows10 . For me it started on July 16, 2021, suddenly.
When I click on Configure Realms, the message "saving world" appears quickly, and then it crashes with ""java.awt.image.BufferedImage.getWidth()" because "â⁻f" is null "
Yeah, ever since 1.17.2 I've been lagging pretty bad, this only happens when you're hosting the map, only servers/realms are playable I don't lag as much while in servers.
I would also want to throw in my observation into this since it's related to the issue. No matter what game mode the player is in, they will be able to change the sign's colors, this is extremely annoying for map makers. Even while there's a deny block underneath the sign, or if the player is in adventure mode, they can change the color of a sign. I think this should be only available when you're in creative, survival and if there's no deny block underneath the sign.
The issue I was experiencing no longer appears to a problem in the updates received after I raised this. So I would consider the bug I found to be resolved.
Should it happen again in the future i will open a new ticket and reference this one.
Please close my ticket
Thanks Kevin
The Attached ticket above does not match what I had been experiencing.
Initially I questioned myself around the tool used but verified I was only carrying a pickaxe with silk touch, combined with the fact other items had been disappearing all purely on retrieval some with no special requirements. As stated it was more noticeable with items I had specific quantities of for a reason.
seems to happen to all skeletons actually
I’m not the realm owner. I’m not able to get a local copy.
Worth noting this happens every time I go through the portal. It’s not just a one-off scenario
Not sure, I no longer play the game. Haven't played since 1.19.73.

Where can we find all the block states? At this point it seems to be a guessing game.
This has been an issue since I started playing in 2019, it's a game breaking bug.
If you join a PVP world, you can't do anything while getting killed. By the time you load into the world, you respawn because you got killed.
