works as intended, because mobs can't see through glass, they can't see while their inside glass.

ya it is reliable and easy to reproduce in places where there used to be a bed. it also happens with chests, except the chest still drops when mined.
I didn't see vines or torches in the list of affected blocks
are your hostile mob sounds off?
Not a bug. works as intended.

When you load an area, any world generation changes that are made after you load that area will not affect the area you have loaded. Deep warm oceans were removed before corals were added, so you can't get corals in deep warm oceans. -also, coral reefs are intended to be rare, even in warm oceans.
Does anyone know if this affects 1.13 pre3?
Did you switch Minecraft accounts? if so, those dogs will still belong to your other account and you will not be able to make them stop sitting. Like on a server, you can't control other people's dogs.

It's better but not perfect from 1.12.2 -> 1.13-pre3 but I found this in my world where I updated from 1.12.2 to 1.13 Pre3

I had that, with my precious items shulker box, and lost at lot of awesome stuff. luckily, I was smart enough to only play in pre1 in a copy of my world.
that is normal. It is in 1.12.2, also (except with other mobs), it's because the mob-cap is taken up by other players on the server.
