I have the same issue in a hardcore world started in 121.40 but not my 6 year old world. The 2x2 will take bonemeal but not grow . I thought it was maybe a biome issue and have tried it everywhere on the effected game. It is broken

Also reported this issue a few weeks ago (couldn't be reproduced). Resolved by un installation and re installation of software

My elytra is basically useless on switch now, before I could fly up high in unloaded chunks completely blind to actually travel. Now I go about 8 chunks and hit chunk walls. un playable

Same issue. The immortal undying villagers also causes huge lag spikes untill they all respawn.

I experienced the same issues. All chest top 9 slots would make ghost trims on blank armour, also the 9th slot of my hotbar displays a false trim texture, I fixed it by uninstalling mc on my 3 devices and re installing

I'm getting massive entity lag even fish in the ocean are stopping for seconds at a time

I experience similar issues with surface spawning slimes on Nintendo switch. I've looked at chunkbase and plotted the slime chunks. They are miss aligned but still no reason for surface spawns

I've had random duplication and loss very similar, puts a shulker down I get an item out I fly away and do something, sometimes not even a few chunks away... I come back and there is no shulker or the items I removed and used are still in the shulker, this occurs a lot around villagers and mob farms

I have fixed this issue by uninstalling Minecraft on all platforms, PlayStation, swit ch and pocket and re installing only worked with the removal of all 3

Doesn't effect enderchest or shulker boxs
