The item texture doesn't always have to match the block texture

I had this bug once or twice as well xD But is seems to be pretty rare

It is the same for shields with a banner put on them

Open a LAN world with cheats activated and grab your items in creative mode. The developers have no access to your world xD

Give yourself some xp, then /kill and then run into the xp orbs. Would be very strange, it worked for me 3 times

Quite a major bug imo, not even 'oficially' confirmed or put into a category. Not sure if they forgot about this one. But still there in 1.16.2

Wow, I think the game will crash if a spider rides an endermite riding a skeleton horse riding a giant riding an enderman in a minecart and you throw a splash potion of luck at the enderman.

How could this bug be very important????

They are hostile mobs, not neutral mobs. Works as intended.

I searched for Armourer instead of Armorer and now duplicated the bug... wow xD

If you ever opened the world in 20w20b or 20w21a, it is corrupted. No matter if you play on 1.16.1 now.
