sorry for the late info, but for those who have only read the changes on reddit, This is a known issue which will be addressed in the next snapshot.
Didn't think of testing without beacon. Updated the description to reflect your input. Thanks 🙂
I thought it got worse, but after not interacting with the villager for about 10 seconds all trades seem to reset. If this works the same in survival, and consistently I'd say this bug is solved.
If someone more patient than me would like to check this bug can join the many other resolved bugs 🙂
Reproduced in 15w51b (dedicated world). Even spawned an ocelot in survival, and fed it fish. It activates love mode and nothing else happens.
Fair enough. Tried it in a new world, unable to reproduce; tried it in a new world with the same seed and world generator options, unable to reproduce.
End created in version 47c (main world is a hybrid), and this exact thing happened in Survival Single Player. So yeah...affects 47c.
@NO Name1 tried that fix, reproduced the bug as stated in the bug description. It crashes, still. (worlds especially made for this, in 15w49b)
Edit: Seems like the original comment is missing. I was referring to turning mob griefing off, not ot the @e command.
If only my world was created in the snapshot I'd be able to confirm. Dungeon count at 100 and getting the crash, though.
Edit: @Jeremy Jameson You can use NBT Explorer to move yourself to a safer location.
@Krist Pregracke
Why not make spawning platforms in the End at the location players and up, and place a pressure plate with a command block under it (which teleports the player to the proper location)?
May not be the ideal solution, but for a workaround I guess this is viable.
This bug currently affects1 (out of 2 total) nether fortress, so it doesn't affect them all.
Created a new world, went to the nether, found a nether fortress (still 15w43c, mind you), and it had blaze spawners. Can't reproduce.
This now happened to my hybrid world for 1.9 snapshots. I tried deleting the chunks in MCEdit, but they regenerate without blaze spawners (and presumably chests then, if I read this bug)
On creative I loaded the nether in an earlier version. Upon deleting the chunks in MCEdit, it loads without blaze spawners as well. I can confirm an absence of chests. I will load this ina n earlier version, THEN upgrade, and see if the loot tables are working remotely as intended.
Additional info: talking about 15w43c
seed: -6173601751937638730
Block broken might be sheep eating grass. Sounds seem more sensitive than our ears, though. It's picking up sounds from much farther away.
Edit: this sound won't be subtitled when a cart in fact IS rolling.
Enchanted book in 15w42a
edit: oops, forgot that it doesnt quite count, as my world is from before the snapshot. Sorry for the inconvenience
Did you try going to the portal in the nether? You're at 8 times the coordinates. Your nether is probably fine.
Happened to me in survival mode. Tried it a second time and it happened again. Both times when I tried this, I used the "creative mode workaround".
There is. You can set your game mode to creative once inside the debug world, and then go through the nether portal block, and yes they do randomly disappear.
I understand your skepticism, but I just went to play around with game modes, going through the end portal etc (end portal gives credits and a teleport back)
And eventually I met the nether portal, which takes you to the place in the screenshot.
So yes, the bug is real, but isn't it a bug that you can go to the nether in there, or that you can switch game modes, rather than this visual glitchiness?
Edit: This is in the 1.8 release.
It does for me. It shows the sunflower texture briefly from North, East, South and West.
@koa Neuva Sorry, I thought the update that was given was the update you were asking for. It looked so specific and accurate to me. Also, by all means I didn't mean to say anything about Grum, other than that he is working on it.
Neko, I made a report on this bug without knowing it was a known issue, so here's an apology for making MC-134819. Hope this saves you a bit of time when looking for duplicates.
