How would I go about fixing this? All my other games I run full screen such as terraria, tf2, gmod, portal,1 and 2, can't crash it at all. I literally just got my new HD 6850 direct cuii last week, and my friend got his gtx 770.its odd that the fullscreen button causes no issues, but f11 or alt tab will.

This has happened with my last 3 graphics cards, both nvidia and amd. I launch allocating 2gb. I have never run windows update. It has to be something with minecraft.

I found a temporary fix: when using /give, add a page with nothing in it, and the book is writable.

Confirmed in 14w06b. I am making a teleporter on my map using a writable book and /clear, but i cannot give the player a renamed book. this is annoying.

The wiki has this bug under the fixed section of14w02c, and obviously its not fixed...

Changing the RAM allocation to 2GB

That, my friend, is called lag. try changing the RAM allocation by editing the profile. Look at the image i attached.

i do use the search function. i looked for half an hour and could not find anything related to it, although the reason it took 30 minutes is because my network keeps having spaz attacks

its a singleplayer world, and i usually get about 300fps. whats a lag? XD

also, my systems specs are i5 3.3ghz, latest java 64 bit, 2x asus HD6450 gpu's at max overclock, 3 monitors, 16gb ram, and windows 7 professional 64 bit.
