i think this is similar to my report: MCPE-171974
Still persistent after disabling resource packs.
Also tried other workarounds such as:
lowering graphics (including render distance, max FPS, anti-aliasing)
disabling full keyboard gameplay
hiding Paper Doll, HUD, coordinates
showdeathmessages
set to false
The only method that has worked is turning on Immediate Respawn, which is pretty obvious for this case.
You can actually use a feature of your keyboard to point/go to where you want to edit. The caret button (the one that looks like a capital "i" with arrows beside it [right above your 'w']) can be used to move your caret to specific parts of your text/command.
also affects 1.20.0
These three had the same sounds when I tested them on the Beta. their sound was the same as the Raid horn sounds (original Goat Horn sound). If so, then it may just be a placeholder for upcoming sounds for these, and only one will have the sound similar to the Raid horn.
Still occurs on Beta 1.18.30.22, villagers and iron golems disappear
Do you single tap while holding the rocket or long press?
Did you reach the cat cap? There is a 50% chance of either a Cat or a Golem to spawn, however, when you reach the Cat Cap (5 cats tamed), every other spawing instances will be of Iron Golems.
1. On your first screenshot, there was only 1 cat that has spawned, you need to tame each and every cat that will spawn within the area.
2. To make the process faster and efficient, have at least 20 fletcher villagers as they are (apparently) much efficient and are able to work even at night.
As the mod said, there are multiple Strongholds in any given seed/world, incase that the world has been older and has gone through multiple updates without encountering any Strongholds, they could be in other locations dependent on the unloaded chunks. aside from Eyes of Ender or /locate, last resort could be using chunkbase, if other options are proven fruitless,
the location changed due to adjustment/compliance for the new Google API, your worlds are in Android/data/com.mojangminecraftpe/
last week's beta reverted in order to give way to manually backup the worlds to the new location
if you're using a cape on a classic skin, that causes the glitch to happen
this also happens when you execute the command in the End, it kills mostly tamed animals in your base (Overworld), and entities in the current dimension (Nether/End)
go to Device Storage/Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files , they are all moved there
no swearing. and also, try backing up your worlds, then reinstall the game.
duplicate of MCPE-144726, i also discussed the solution there
duplicate of MCPE-144726, i also found the solution, i posted it there
are you installing from an Android Package (apk)? if yes, you should install (download) it from the Play Store to update it. If not (if you are from Play Store), i cannot offer any other solutions yet.
this also happens to me in the Overworld, esp. with non-full blocks like stairs.
wrong site but, try using non-Observer based elevator
similar to what I have stated on the steps to reproduce is that I just hover the cursor over the button (during the video wherein the softlock occurs), and also, I did not use my mouse while recording, only when I've shown the hovering
otherwise I don't really know, because i don't really change much settings in the game or in my computer
