This was done poorly in previous versions, making it one of the major contributing factors to the TNT explosion lag. We chose to remove it for now, and will look at re-introducing the particles later.
When reintroduced, can they be made to use double precision coordinates upon creation as to not cause high coordinate precision loss?
Can confirm, even with particles on "all".
