when i close my inventory pressing “E”, it takes half a second to my game to respond and after responding, it lags for another half second.
I don’t know if it’s my laptop or it’s the game but im sure it’s the game because that didn’t happen before.

Basically to reproduce it, open minecraft, join any world, realm or server, when in fullscreen in my case although it has happened in windowed, you open inventory or menu screen, then when you close out of it the inputs are delayed for a few seconds.
This bug still exists in the Update 1.21.92. When I open the invenory and press the shift button and then click on a stackable item to instantly put it from the inventory to a shulker box for example, it splits in half. And when I open and close the inventory and try to move with WASD, there’s still a movement delay. If any dev here sees this, do not type ‘resolved’ under the status. Release an Update first you finally fix this delay bug.
This is caused by the HP Omen Gaming Hub application running in the background. Completely closing it resolves the issue.
I agree with Lisa Su, only the omen command center background task needs to be ended to fix it via task manager. Omen Install monitor, overlay helper, system optimiser and light studio dont need to be closed.
