Hello,
I honestly tried searching for a similar "issue" but it was hard to tell who is playing what, so my apologies if this has already been said. First off, congratulations on the update/new game...it's very exciting and I'm confident everything will smooth out in time.
My "issue"... I've noticed when playing on Xbox One with the Better Together version, the controls feel extremely sensitive...to where it's near impossible to get the same experience as I did on the xbox one edition of minecraft. On the original xbox one edition, looking left or right was no problem, but with this new version...I can't keep it from drifting up or down. I understand there's a bit of a "dead zone" that would keep this from happening, but with the Better Together/Bedrock version, looking left has turned into looking left and slightly up or down and the same for looking right...it just seems to float either up or down when looking left or right. I just wanted to bring this to your team's attention in hopes that it can been be adjusted...also, the maps in split-screen (vertical)....most of the map is gone and completely invisible if held in hand. Anyway, thank you for your time.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I did try adjusting that setting. When adjusting that setting, it seemed to focus more on the speed rather than the direction, which is the problem I'm experiencing. When looking left or right in the game it floats either up or down. I've tried other controllers, same issue.I have come across other users with the same problem. Perhaps it's a threshold adjustment? Thank you again for you quick response...I'm sorry if I wasn't clear with my first entry.
On bedrock when you try to move your head up or down the directional sensitivity of the analog stick makes it tilt your head a bit left or right while trying to look up or down. Same goes for looking left or right. When you try to look left or right your head will probably tilt up or down. On the legacy edition when you look up or down it will tilt your head straight up and down unless you put a little more force on it on the analog stick to tilt your head left or right while the analog stick is tilted up or down. Again same goes for left and right, when you look left or right you have to put a little more force on the analog stick to tilt your head up and down while the analog stick is tilted left or right. In the bedrock version when you look up or down your head will turn a bit in the X or the Z axis direction instead of only the Y axis (up and down) This has nothing to do with the sensitivity of the speed your head turns.
If you look straight forward then spin around left or right at 360° for 15 seconds straight your head should NOT be looking a bit or completely down at the ground or a bit or completely up towards the sky by the end of the 15 seconds. Your head should still be looking straight forward.
If you tilt it left it should just go left, if you tilted right it should just go right, not a slight bit up or down, if you tilt it up it should just go up, not a slight bit left or right. if you tilted down it should just go go down. I recommend making this a option in the settings to turn sensitive direction turning off so you don't ruin the experience for PC and Mobile devices.
This is my version of it, or duplicate.
This just started happening to me after the 1.20.32 update, i did not have this issue before unless it was happening as a result of lag. it doesn't seem much activity has been happening with this bug but it would be really great to have some priority as it is very frustrating and game impeding.
any updates? i would submit a new issue about it but it would just get labeled as a duplicate of this one by the bot. This is a really annoying bug and i have done everything i can to try to fix it on my own but this is definitely a minecraft issue, and one the devs really really need to patch
Playing on Bedrock Edition XBOX One Version 1.20.72010. This issue just started for me. I have played on many worlds on my XBOX One. I have played on several other realms and worlds and this newly created one seems to have a near constant drift. When I created the world it was fine, but the longer I played the worse it got. It now drifts forward and to the right. I have to stay constantly in a corner or crouched when I look away from the game so I don't just drift away. I have tried multiple controllers and have confirmed they are not the issue. I would love this issue to be resolved or if anyone has found a workaround that would be great info as well!
I might have found a solution to this unsure but i had the same problem so i wrote an email about it to Minecraft support and they told me this:
"I see that you're experiencing some trouble with your Minecraft game on PS, as the analog stick seems to be moving erratically. I can understand how frustrating this must be, but don't worry, we'll investigate this issue further.
In this case, we recommend that you first restore your licenses.
For PlayStation 5:
From your PlayStation home screen, go to Settings
Select Users and Accounts
Under Other, select Restore Licenses
Select Restore"
This surprisingly worked very well and haven't had any problems with it yet i even tried in different worlds and servers and still worked great even after closing the game and opening up again the only problem i encountered was that you now could see how precise the analog stick was so even if i moved it one millimeter in the inventory it quickly jumped over to another slot which is an easy fix if there were deadzone.
They also told me that:
"Should the issue persist, rebuilding the database can help alleviate issues with the game. This can be done through Safe Mode on your PlayStation. Please note that some Safe Mode options will result in the loss of data. Be sure to back up data to a USB drive or Cloud Storage before selecting these options.
1. Turn off your console by holding the power button for three seconds. The power indicator blinks for a few moments before turning off.
2. Once the console is off, press and hold the power button again. Release it after you hear the second beep — one beep sounds when you first press, and another seven seconds later.
3. Connect the controller with the USB cable and press the PS button on the controller."
Hopefully this works for you guys as well enjoy 🙂
