This issue has returned. I know it is a generalized issue affecting all platforms but here is a video walkthrough of the issue as well as the history of the bug since earlier this year and it's ultimate resolution

but how do i fix it? the message just pops up every time. ive tried restarting my xbox and it only works temporally and its really annoying. now when i restart it it doesnt fix it at all!

Same exact problem. I'm on XboxOneX. I've deleted all world's best except my main creative that I've had since 2012 ( it's only 265 mb ). This is so frustrating. I lost a prior save after getting an error saying "world didn't fully sync or may have been corrupted". I can't make a copy of my main creative to keep as a back up OR even play it because of the "You are almost out of storage space! Minecraft has restricted access until you clear up additional storage space" error. I see a lot of players across multiple platforms with this same issue but I see very few resolutions. Can you please address this? I do not want to lose an 8 year old creative world because of a bug that's not being addressed. Is there a way to save it to usb storage on Xbox OneX?

I wish Mojang could fix this. Cannot play minecraft at all on xBox one.

If we want to try to fix the problem, we'll have to lose data for all our other games, too. Unacceptable.

Seems from all of the comments that no one has a successful solution.

Lost worlds we've worked on for over 2 years now. Such a shame.

I'm having the exact same problem too on an Xbox One S playing v1.16.201 with plenty of unused storage space (593GB Internal & 172GB External).....can't update worlds that I've already purchased through the Marketplace & can't install new worlds. I am NOT gonna uninstall & reinstall this game after I have done so a handful of times in the past. I have alot of worlds & that eats up too much of my time to reinstall all of my worlds over & over again whenever the game has a bug. Mojang needs to fix this issue ASAP.....alot of us have invested a good amount of money into Minecraft in general.....marketplace, etc. I know I have spent well over $500 just in Marketplace content alone.
Please fix this issue, Mojang. Also, would it be possible in a future game update to allow the uninstalling/reinstalling of the game WITHOUT deleting the world save & resource pack folders. Maybe a tick box in the settings that would allow the player to choose whether or not they want their world save & resource pack folders to be deleted upon unstalling. That way IF an issue arises that can be temporarily resolved by uninstalling/reinstalling the game, you wouldn't have to go through the time & trouble of reinstalling all of your worlds. Alot of Minecraft players are just casual players & don't have many worlds but alot of us do.

My daughter just got the same error. We are running both a Xbox Seriex X and a Xbox One X and the issue occurs on both so she can't access any of her worlds anymore.

We have tried to remove her account and add it again but that did not help.

None of the Xboxes are out of actual storage space.

Has anyone got a solution for this, I recently got Minecraft and I haven't even played yet due to the same issue as the above

Still a problem in 1.17.41.  Every once in a while I'm able to actually get into a map or a server, but 99% of the time I see this.

Does anyone have any actual tested deterministic workarounds for this problem that doesn't involve a laundry list of "reinstall windows" type solutions that don't do anything to solve the root of the problem?

I'm having the exact same issue on ps4 not allowing me to download 11mb for a texture pack which is infuriating as i have loads of space

Still an issue in 1.18.31. I’m on PS5 and I can no longer load my world.

Suddenly experiencing this error as of 1.18.31 (have not played for several months prior). The only differences in the console state I am aware of since the last time it worked are more available storage space, and no active XBL Gold subscription.

@Meg / All - My understanding was there was a master bug report being tracked (MCPE-55010) for this as it a Bedrock code base bug affecting all Bedrock platforms. Please vote/watch this incident as, so many are open, I believe it isn't accurately reflecting how many users are truly affected:

This is still a problem on 1.19 I can't access any of my worlds now
