When flying around, bees get stuck inside bottom half slabs used in roofs. It appears to only affect half slabs used in roofs and elsewhere above ground - half slabs on the ground do not cause an issue.
The slab must be broken by the player to release the bees, otherwise they do not find a way out, even after multiple in game days.

In 1.18.12, if the bees are in a 1x1 column (height doesn't matter), the bees sometimes get stuck on each other, and are unable to path back to the hive.
Allay too gets stuck
In windows
Halfslabs
Stairs
Hoppers
Pistons
Frances
Iron bar's
Doors
And almost all the time in one block wide holes
Just added a video captured with Windows Gamebar showing a bee stuck under some slabs. I can push the bee around but it moves back underneath that same slab. Once I break the slab it flies off (in this case to a flower).
This issue affects any non-full block, including trapdoors, farmland, slabs, stairs, chains, etc. Relogging or breaking the block is the only resolution until a proper fix is put out. Affects version v1.21.0.
Bees also get stuck on a variety of other blocks as well, including: Walls, fences, glass panes, iron bars, end rods, and bamboo.
So they pretty much have the same pathfinding issues as all other mobs, with the added bonus of hovering mid air, being able to get stuck in even more locations.
