Walking animations of certain entities play too fast

The bug

Certain mob walking animations play much too fast compared to their java counterparts. This issue is like caused by MCPE-108385.

 

Affected Entities (List may be incomplete):

  1. All types of skeleton

  2. Creeper

  3. Pig

  4. Iron Golem (see MCPE-88245)

  5. Villager

  6. Wandering Trader

  7. Cave Spider/Spider

  8. Zombified Piglin

  9. Sheep

  10. Chicken

  11. Turtle

How to reproduce:

1. Spawn any of the affected mobs
2. Watch it walk

→ ❌ Their walking animations are way too fast and the limbs have extreme angles

Please check this out! Now baby mobs have wrong animation and moving speed also!

I always thought flailing legs while it is flying through the air was an intended feature. But it does look bad after they land.

Please make it fixed

Looking closer at the cow, its legs move too fast while walking normally. The speed when moving is an amplification of that. This issue may be entirely dependent on MCPE-108385.

Still affect 1.19.51 Hotfix

This issue no longer affects cows but I can confirm this in 1.20.40 as well as 1.20.50.21. Requesting ownership if possible due to lack of updates plus the owner being inactive for over a year.

This no longer affects the Cow, Wandering Trader, spider, iron golem and zombified pigmen 1.21.31

This still affects pigs, chickens, Iron Golems, and creepers.
