Affects Win10 1.16.20, and you can't even craft any of them. Also, when fire is lit on Soul Sand, it is regular fire and burns out whereas in 1.16.10 it had the placeholder texture and stayed there forever.

Seems like this is a bigger problem than I thought...

This buried treasure (and also an Ocean Monument, not pictured) is located in the missing chunks!

I'm not complaining about the Wither Skeletons... But the Zombie Pigmen and Magma Cubes are really starting to get on my nerves!

I might be having this issue, too. I was in the Nether the other day, when I came across a portal that I made a few years ago. I went in in to see where it went, and all of a sudden it was like I had spawned inside some blocks and was suffocating, and then I died. Then it said I had fallen into the Void, which gave me the idea that maybe the chunk went missing. Just be careful before you enter a portal in the Nether that you haven't used in a while, because you might just end up losing your important stuff forever!

I have a custom Resource Pack that has a texture in it for the Zombie Pigman, and a test world with a Zombie Pigman in it, and I went into the world yesterday and the Zombie Pigman had the texture of the new Zombified Piglin instead of the custom Zombie Pigman texture it had on before. I wonder if this is related?

I've had a similar issue where I sheared a nest (with a lit campfire under it) in a building and the honeycomb ended up on the roof.

I've had one good result where I punched a frozen turtle and it went and laid eggs, probably because it was fed in an earlier version. Since then, I haven't had any luck with punching them, even though they're right on their home beach! (Btw, this was back in October, on Windows 10, v.1.14.0.)

I'm having this same issue on my Android tablet in 1.13.1. When I go to open an Old World type, it just gets stuck on "Generating World".

Guess this isn't a bug... Turns out that somehow the full screen toggle got set to "off"! 😛

It happened to oak the other day, too. I wonder if this is due to my trees being planted on single dirt blocks in a desert? I also had one there that was surrounded by grass, but it has a fence around it a few blocks away and it probably didn't have enough room to grow.

I've had this same issue when I was killed in the Nether by Ghasts, fire, or fall damage. (I don't know if this is related, but when I died the first time (due to a fall) and finally found the place where I died, all my stuff was gone. I don't know whether it fell in the lava or disappeared due to a glitch, though I DID recover the items I had when I died trying to find them.)

I just noticed this on Windows 10 1.11.1, too.

If it's any help, I created this world right before the Boss Update, back in 2016. And also, I didn't tame any Wolves in it until at least 2017.

I don't know; I tried them on 1.10.0.3 Beta and they still didn't work. However, when I spawned them in Creative mode, they worked fine.
