I can confirm v1.19.2 have fixed this issue.
I can also confirm Preview v1.19.10.23 seem to fix this problem.
I don’t think it works with all texts except for the title and subtitle bars. There is also text background on controller tooltips and item names but does not work with the text opacity. Is this another issue or another solution?
In the TestFlight app, there is a feature where you can go back to previous versions of Minecraft. But the downside is you have to get Minecraft Preview and you aren’t allowed to play cross-platform multiplayer except for Featured Servers. Hope this helps for a workaround since there are limitations to the Preview version of Minecraft.
I can also confirm that it is working on Android but not on iOS…
Affects on me as well. I thought this issue was fixed but then it came back…
Following #Mark Ashworth’s technique did actually work. But some marketplace issues still need some work such as the Loading screen, etc.

I can confirm that this issue is fixed. It probably was the Switch’s software issue itself.
The bug is still present but it affects when you go at the side of the piston

Either way it’s still sounds like a suggestion. It’s not an important bug ticket but Minecraft Feedback may get your response.
I think is that the developers limited to 2 GB and people who are close to that limit might affect some slow downs in my observations.
This issue is still occurring and it has not fixed since a long time ago. I am still having piston issues with entities!! Please fix as soon as possible!

I don’t think this is an issue... To submit a suggestion go to [feedback.minecraft.net|feedback.minecraft.net] and besides it is a default option to deop players to Member.
Affects Controllers as well but not sure for consoles...

It’s still an issue and I’ve updated this ticket.
The new beta has been partially fixed. The block still teleports once the piston pulls back so it is not completely been fixed.
