This stills affects 1.18.1, and isn't just limited to the debug stick. The /setblock command with the lit property set to false results in a lit torch. Why is this marked as won't fix?
Can confirm affects 1.18.1
This affects 1.18.1. Applied most recent screenshot.
Yeah unfortunately still happening on Switch. It started after the 1.17.30 patch, and I'm not even able to switch between Steve or Alex, I just get a message saying I'm "not in the latest version and need to update", yet I'm on 1.17.32. Then if I hit update it gives me an error saying I'm not online and goes to an infinite loading screen that I've only been able to fix by closing the game.
Sorry about the dupe. I didn't search good enough I guess.
This is a really common occurrence for me. My world's around 120 mb at this point in time, and I've just had to put up with it for the most part. It usually lasts anywhere from 30 seconds - 2 minutes while autosaving. There have been some times where it freezes randomly (not during an autosave) and ultimately crashes. Not sure if it's connected at all.
Came across this bug myself yesterday. Version 1.17.2
Not that I'm aware of no. I haven't done much testing in newer versions but I'll see if it's still an issue and get back to you.
This needs to be priority fix. I spent nearly 2 hours re-rolling trades to get a mere Fortune l and went to get more emeralds only to come back and have the librarian switch to a farmer after I locked his trades. I've been completely discouraged from playing survival at all anymore when I really want to.
No other players or myself destroyed them as it was a single player survival world and was like that upon discovering it. I don't have the seeds since the worlds have been deleted but this isn't the first world that this has happened in.
Also sorry for the late response.
Don't sign in to your microsoft account and you should be able to play without it crashing. Obviously that means you can't get achievements/play online/etc, but obviously if those aren't things that'll bother you than this might be a good fix until they can work on it.
There should be an option in the menu that's labeled HUD opacity, and if its not at 100%, that might be your issue. It could be that the actual setting is bugged out on that version and only causing the hearts and hunger to disappear.
Can someone tell me why they keep adding stuff to the game instead of fixing the already existing broken, unoptimized mess?
