I have exactly this issue on 1.17.2 and Android 13. Am running on Fairphone 3. I've had this issue with both lineage OS and the stock Android 13 from fairphone.
I also have this on my Galaxy S8 in the latest non beta version - 1.10 I think?
I'm quite baffled as to why on earth there can't be a hotfix. This is a fairly serious bug and, as can be seen from the comments above, has already caused a few spoiled games. Hotfixes are a normal part of the software development process and, while I could understand waiting for a non game breaking bug, there doesn't seem to be much excuse here...
I'm fairly confident that I have always had a locator map with me whenever this has happened to me. That said, it has also not happened many times when I've had the map, but it may be relevant.
Pictures added. Sorry - should've done that at the start.
The most common time I see this reproduced is if I go away on a journey, my mobs have sometimes escaped when I return. I think it may be something to do with them being unloaded and loaded from memory. Doesn't happen every time, but fairly often.
I'm still experiencing this issue in the latest beta version (1.04.1 on Android LG G3). I recently returned from exploring to discover that a couple of my cows had escaped their fencing.
Same bug on LG G3 with Android 6 running 0.15.90.2
I searched for "can't put saddle horse" anddiff boy find any reference to this bug.
Confirmed on LG G3 on Android 6
Confirmed on lg g3 running Android 6.0 on 15.0 build 1
Confirmed on 0.13 Android LG G3
@john McDowel that's different to the bug I originally reported - the spawners are completely empty with no flame at all. Yours might be a different bug.
No, the issue is that mobs are able to escape through the fences. The example of the baby sheep was that, having spawned in the correct pen, it escaped into the cow enclosure, despite there being no gates and a complete fence.
It certainly does for me. I've had saplings dropped by jungle trees and oak trees - possibly birch too, but I don't remember.
Am playing 0.12.1 on Android.
This bug seems to be fixed in the latest beta version (0.12.1 build 11). I now get a reasonable number of saplings falling without needing to destroy the leaves manually.
Confirmed on LG G3 - Android 5.0
I've only experienced it on Survival, butit's a very frustrating bug. I norder to change the item in a different hotbar slot; I have to come out of inventory select the hotbar slot and go back into inventory.
Still an issue in build 3.
Hoping this isn't a bug - I like this.
I'm having this exact issue, but with pink concrete slabs. Really annoying - can't put the ceiling on my bedroom...
