Same here Its annoying I ant even back up my wrolds so I lose everything when I deltete the app and re-download it

I’m having the same issue when trying to upload a world to Realms.

One of the datapacks needed updating so I downloaded the world, fixed the problem and reuploaded it. Not only did it fail to upload the fixed world, it also overwrites the old world with a completely new world. I keep having to restore backups.

As Potater said, I’d like to use the service I’m paying for. Please provide an update on the matter.

Agreed. Some people only bought this version because it had offline LAN support.

LAN play on any Xbox game had always been free until this bug.

LAN multiplayer was always and is supposed to be free. The fact you need Gold for LAN play is the bug that needs fixed.

I had high hopes that this would be fixed with the free-to-play changes, but Minecraft isn't a free-to-play game, so it was a long shot.

Same issue on a new Fire bought today.  Still works fine on the previous Fire we had already signed into. 

For me it was a fixed. But this was because of a file in my resource pack, which worked on the previous version but not on this one.

I added device model and os version

This issue is regarding the Xbox One (which isn't mentioned in your other ticket at all) and this issue presents differently. Xbox One users (signed into Xbox Live, but without Xbox Live Gold) cannot see games on the local network (LAN). The tab name will show as "Friends (1)" or similar, but navigating to it will show zero joinable games.

In MCPE-36190 you mention that iOS is the issue. There's not a single iOS device in my house and yet this issue persists. This issue (MCPE-55083) is tracking the Xbox One not even listing LAN games if the user isn't signed up for Xbox Live Gold.

EDIT: And now I realize you just type into the server window. I was thrown by the lack of a prompt. I can close this issue if you'd like.

this seems to only work with experimental gameplay and it's still in 1.16.0.53 beta

I mentioned it more as confirming old versions still worked but the latest didn't... All the worlds my kids actually play got upgraded as the hosting computer did so we're still down on the number of players that can play at once since the Xbox version wont work.

I can confirm that the issue seems to be on the Xbox One side of things.

Reverting the Minecraft installation on the Xbox back to disc default allows it to see local games as well as join them is the map/server version is suitable. However after the update patches apply then the local games disappear again and only the count is visible.

I also have this problem and i have multiple skin packs. but the first picture is not really accurate because with the new persona skin thingy the whole skin pack doesn't show at all ( i do like the persona system)
