Some end cities don't generate completely

The bug

End cities sometimes generate incompletely; this is not MC-125007 as this generation issue is not random and can be reproduced using the same seed, having the end city cut off at the same position almost every time.

Example of this bug taken from MC-125007:

  1. Create a world using the following seed

  2. Teleport to the end

As per MC-125007, it seems generation fails when decorating, added screenshot where the end ship generation fails exactly where the elytra, chests and dragon head should be. (18w10a)

Also noting epic fail on ship generation in end cities, also note the fail is on chunk borders. It "feels like" certain chunks are being generated and "frozen" before the end cities finish generating. 18w10a

I haven't observed partial End Cities but rather based on generation, are simply not there. This has been the case in both 15a/b and 16a.

Additionally, the same seed used in two words may or may not contain an end city the same location. This has also been observed with /locate being able to find an end city in one world at a particular set or coordinates but then not in another world with the identical seed. Both with Generate Structures enabled.

I know this issue has been marked as fixed by now, but I want to add that I believe this issue may have existed earlier than 18w07b. I've tried to reproduce it with failed results, but in my (originally 1.7.10) homeworld I have a clipped end city too, which I generated way back in 1.12.2. I've never realised it until I saw this bug report. I've modified the structure since then and I don't have an early screenshot for this reason to prove it. But my end city structure is DEFINITELY matching the description of this report. Clipped at the quarter chunk border, complete with open 4th wall rooms. Ship on the other end of the structure is in tact.

Still present in 18w20a. Same seed and location as listed in "How to reproduce" still has a cut off tower exactly as in 18w19b.

Tested the steps to reproduce in 18w21b, and the end city did not generate a cut off tower. Can confirm that this is fixed in 18w21b.

Still here in 18w50a..... Traveled about 10k blocks each direction and havent seen any signs of end cities.

Same problem on 18w50a 19w02a and 19w03b for me. There's no End Cities in my End, also trying to locate them with the /locate command bring you in the middle of the void
