The issue is intermittently not always would occur this crash issue.
Can confirm, this issue still occur as of 1.21.111
By posting another new ticket about this same bug report.

Refence build with the addon/ showing bug in action as 2 player in local multiplayer

This is not a bug but is working as intended because in the loading part cannot change mode.

This issue is partially fixed in the patch 1.21.111 the issue is happening when sleeping by clicking in the corner the player will be in strange position for a few seconds.

After further investigation by minecraft support did thinked it was a nintendo related issue, but at the moment can set as awaiting reply, and if minecraft support cannot fix will be replying back as soon
Could you check if the mac is blocking minecraft, if think is not safe.
This report i updated the steps to reproduce based on goldenhelmet comment.
For this type of issue contact minecraft support or discord server of minecraft. This report can be closed as invalid, because is asking a question rather reporting bug.
You know? The updated date of the copper golem will be released in 30 september 2025.
If this issue got fixed with 1.21.114 patch then can put this ticket as fixed resolution.
