I am having the very same issue on a Nintendo Switch. I have rebooted the switch, deleted the data, and tried signing in with both my account and my daughter’s account. It continues to hang on connecting, but shows the right gamertag for either of our accounts. This started happening right after updating to v1.21.111.
When the happy ghast is in contact with other blocks it generates a lot of lag on servers and offline sometimes.
You can not play properly and the lag of the game is so great that the position of the characters is not updated properly returning them to their origin or not being able to eat well.
I can confirm this on Bedrock server edition 1.21.90 and 1.21.92.
I got hit by my own arrow, lol. (shooting arrow while walking forward, tho happy ghasts were around at leashes)
My friends and me notice unplayable bugs as well (since the update to 1.21.90) on a self-hosted server. The lags seem to be related to areas with Happy Ghasts or >15 Villagers.
Additionally, the lags are extreme, when placing or removing beds/workstations of villagers.
It looks like in the latest build, 1.21.80.28 Preview, I am able to replicate the issue consistently and clear it consistently. For one reason or another, if you:
Allow the Launcher to stay open while the game runs
Launch the Preview - this results in the game running smoothly for the first time
Close the game, returning to the Launcher
Launch the Preview a second time - this results in the game running horribly
Repeat 3-4 as much as you’d like without closing the Launcher.
To fix the issue, simply close the Preview AND Launcher. Re-open the Launcher and start Preview, the game is back to running smoothly again. You can repeat steps 3-4 once again to reproduce the problem.

Some villagers also disappered to nowhere.
Seems to be similar to MCPE-223474 .

I have the same issue on my ps5 joining a realm on split screen
I have the same issue on ps5 since last update. Any ideas?
Update* When you upload a World in Realm it needs some time to update the server ~20mins after that it worked well

DXDiag Information:
I had this problem after updating to 1.21.80.22, but it went away after updating to 1.21.80.25. It is now back again in this most recent update.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the beta and restarting my machine. The problem seems to persist.
