LeeEel's comment reflects my experience with PS4 1.19.x as well but I'd like to add that when the sound stuttering is bad, so too is gravity. Blocks appear to fall down much more slowly at the same time.
As a follow-up, she logged on, received a notice that an unknown error occurred, tried again and got in and placed a couple of tadpoles, some blocks, then logged out for about 15 minutes before logging back in (again an unknown error message). All progress lost again.
Tried one more time only placing blocks. Now, she keeps getting the unknown error occurred message after attempting to relog and is unable to connect.
I think the change they made should not be fixed. If old redstone builds breaks is up to you to fix. Mojang can't forever support old behaviors (some even can count as a bug).
I didn't know about the update order and have always assume it updated from where you trigger observer's or pull a lever.
what you were doing leading up to the mobs disappearing: Exploring a nearby cave/abandoned mineshaft
single vs. multiplayer, local vs server/realm : Singleplayer, realm
how far you traveled: hard to tell maybe 200 blocks
how long the current or previous play session lasted: About 30-45 minutes
whether the despawns were near a player spawn point or if you had changed your player spawn point during the session: My spawnpoint was in the village and was not changed.
if you experienced lag or anything else abnormal.: No lag or anything abnormal I noticed.
If it matters, I left the village (which is completely walled, lit up and surrounded by a lava mote) to explore a cave and returned to find the two villagers I brought from another village had disappeared along with one of my three leashed horses. I am trying to repopulate the village by capturing villagers and this is the third time the villagers have disappeared.
Had white parrot on my shoulder while wearing netherite armor
Went to sleep in a bed
The parrot remained hovering while I slept
I would expect that, after waking back up, the parrot would remain interactive, follow me, and make further attempts to perch on my shoulder.
Instead, once I woke up, the parrot was flapping its wings while hovering in the position it had been in the moment it left my shoulder upon my sleeping. It cannot be directly interacted with, nor killed. The only way I have found to interact with it is indirectly as it can be pushed using a piston.
For what it’s worth, the space beside my bed is a carpeted 2 wide by 4 tall alcove.
While the bug is active, I am prevented from using portals as though the parrot were still on my shoulder.
I checked the marketplace on switch after losing it and the Founder’s Cape wasn’t there, but for my brother on Windows 10 who didn’t lose it, it was in the marketplace. I still really want my Founder’s Cape back😞
Now fixed
i have frequent stutters even on a superflat world on a brand new s23 (started using it on march 26)
On windows go to your date and time setting and find the sync button then click it hope it helps
Also occurs in iOS 15 (iPhone), Minecraft 1.19.21. Please update the "affectsVersions" and "Enviromment" fields of this ticket.
"An error occurred" appears 100% of the time during the "Initializing download" stage when attempting to download a world from a realm.
This issue does not occur when playing on a Realm using PS4.
This issue does occur when playing on a downloaded copy of the world from the Realm on PS4.
The same is also occurring in iOS on an iPad mini.

My wife had the same issue on our Realms server today after breeding and transporting frogs.
Can we revisit this issue? Someone at Microsoft said you guys can fix this, it's not Microsoft side.

So fix the redstone dust update order also.
Also occurs in Bedrock 1.18.1, PS4.
Hopefully any of this is useful.

@Mega_Spud

Workaround: Save, quit, restart the game.
Okay, I think I understand now; thank you

I didn’t uninstall the game because I bought it as a game card
I have the same problem on Nintendo Switch
