I can say I'm having the same issue. I have included a picture with a number of light emitting blocks that simply do not work as intended in RTX, though they emit light normally in vanilla mode.

I lowered my render distance to 12 chunks, and it did seem to fix the problem, at least until 1.13 came out. Not only is it back with a vengeance, but the screen freeze lasts longer than it did before, and it's happening even more frequently. I don't think render distance is the issue here.

Unfortunately, this did not fix the audio issue for me. Audio still sounds like it has been clipped and does not play properly.

I've noticed this as well. Some sounds are missing or clipped, notably horse galloping, and the splash when jumping into water.

I've noticed this as well, as I use a custom character skins, some I've created myself. From what I can tell, it lists my skins as "limited usage" though this never seemed to be be an issue in past versions, even letting me use them in realms. It will let me use the skin ingame, but once I log off, it resets to the default.

After reading your feedback, I removed the composter from where I had it, nestled between a workbench, a furnace and a one block high wall of grassy soil, moved it into a more open area, and repeated my trouble shooting. I can now confirm that the compost is generating bonemeal as designed, so that doesn't seem to be the issue. I now think that the bone meal was clipping into the blocks around the composter which is why I wasn't seeing it generate, and why I kept perceiving it as not generating bone meal.

I can confirm this is happening. I created a new world (seed: pot22) I found a double spawner in a cave not too far from spawn (skeleton and spider.) I placed torches on both, only to have multiple mobs continue to spawn in from both at a rate as if they were still in total darkness.

Been having the same issue, I wandered around for two nights straight and never had a monster encounter. I made a new survival game, just to see if it was just that world. It seems like the game spawns a few monsters on the first day, but won't spawn any more. I also noticed that monster spawns I found in in the previous version will still spawn monsters, but at a very slow pace, even in complete darkness. Not sure if it's related.

I've been having this same issue. I'll log into a world, and my maps will be blank. Relogging does not work. I have found two ways to make the map appear however, the first is to discover new land on the map, or if the map is completed, you can place it in an item frame

I found a way to get Mooshrooms to spawn:

  • enchant a shovel with silk touch and gather some grass blocks

  • plant grass blocks in a spot in a mushroom biome, preferably isolated from any mycelium that may grow nearby

  • Mooshrooms should spawn 2-6 at a time on the grass during the day.

Seems nothing spawns on mycelium, but mooshrooms will spawn exclusively on grass in these biomes. At one point I had a sizable herd until I decided to give them all a lava bath, I keep finding more on my lawn almost every time I return to my house.

I've had a similar issue. I tried finding a stronghold in a creative world I had made before 1.0, it eventually led me to a village, but when I dug down after it, it led me to an abandoned mine shaft, and just stopped in an area with no portal in sight.

I can confirm this. while playing on Seed 331, I built my base in the middle of the nearby ice plain, during the first night, I was surrounded by a legion of skeletons and strays, a few wearing iron/chain/gold armor, after the morning die off, I would have close to a stack of bones and arrows. Over time, the game's framerate began to drop, presumably from mobs spawning nearby underground. At one point the frame rate dropped to less than 1 fps and the game became unplayable. I was able to fix it by switching the game difficulty to peaceful which caused my framerate to return to normal. Since monsters despawn instantly in peaceful mode, it supports the theory that the spawn rate is out of control.

I've noticed that villages have a tendency to be completely empty, even when starting a new world. Possibly related?

I don't know about the issue with Blazes, but I can confirm that Ghasts spawn constantly now, the frequency was so bad that I had to flee the nether to avoid being overwhelmed. I even found one stuck in a netherrack wall while I was fleeing back to the portal.

Now that you mention it, the tools do seem harder for want of a better word, seems to also affect the UI graphics for redstone and gunpowder.
