Regarding Prowls comments about entities clipping, I've been experiencing this since 1.20 in my iron farm design which has villagers side by side separated by trapdoors. One villager could clip to a specific side. Also on the same corners prowl mentioned.
@GoldenHelmet MCPE-186728 has videos attached where it affects local worlds and servers.
Also affects 1.21.40.22 preview
This isn't a bug. It's part of the mechanics.
The maximum distance the player can be from the village for iron golems to spawn can be calculated with this formula:
Horizontal = (8 * Simulation) + 32
Vertical = (8 * Simulation) + 12
Not all villagers need a workstation. 75% of the villagers must work to spawn a golem. If you have 20 villagers, 15 need to work.
The fact that iron farms function differently between the versions is already a parity difference. That's not going to change anytime soon.
Nevermind close this. restarting my pc fixed it.
@Psyionysus it's a bug/glitch that players were abusing. It's not a feature. And sand is renewable, just not reliably.
Confirmed.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Place a hopper
2. Put a detector rail on top
3. Place a hopper minecart or chest minecart on top of detector rail
4. Put items inside minecart
Expected Result:
Items will empty the minecart into the hopper and travel on
Actual Result:
Items stay inside the minecart
The latest version is 1.21.20 not 1.21.2. He's obviously on that version

as a note this is also affecting 1.20.13 BDS
After doing a ton of testing to work out why one of our servers had a completely empty allowlist, it appears if the server shuts down and starts up, any users in the allowlist.json file who do not have an XUID are completely ignored when the allowlist is loaded into the server, and then when any change is made (via the allowlist add/remove command) it removes those users from the allowlist. Prior to this, all we had to do was "allowlist add Name" and then they'd join and it would populate that XUID, and remember them even if they joined or not. I suspect this is also the issue occuring in BDS-18545
Edit: as a Note I actually tested this on a brand new server, not an established one. So the number of users in the allowlist has 0 impact.
Nevermind, restarting my PC solved this issue. Still weird it happened.
Crawling is an experimental toggle per-world.
I'm curious,
Why are you running the server on a VM on the Same PC you're attempting to play with??? Why run it on a virtual linux machine at all rather than just using the Windows BDS Software?
I just ran the bedrock_server exe file and it told me it was running 1.19.20. Easiest way to verify version
This has nothing to do with java edition. He's asking if you are creating the world for a bedrock SERVER or just can't create the world in general? You've reported this as a bedrock server bug
