This is the Minecraft Launcher bug page. Please report this bug on the correct page (Either for Java Edition or Bedrock Edition depending on what edition you experienced this bug on)
Check the Bug Tracker Guidelines to see what a ticket requires. Create a new ticket or update this one with clearer instructions to reproduce the bug.
I have attached 2 screenshots for MC Patch Notes, 1 for MCD Patch Notes and 1 for the What's New in the Launcher.
this is probably due to the fact that you had mods in your OptiFine installation that were not on the newest version / OptiFine compatible
I would also like to add that you cannot interact with blocks that you can normally interact with, eg. chests, furnaces, composters, etc.

Also, frogs will be added when Mojang will update the swamp, which might take a while. However, the update is confirmed and the frog is, too.

Hey!
In part 1 of 1.17, cave generation for the most part won't be added. This means that azalea trees will not spawn. They will be added in part 2 of 1.17. You can download the full Caves and Cliffs datapack, which is included in the patch notes of all recent snapshots. Axolotls can only spawn with spawn eggs, and therefore won't spawn.
