Walking on thin/small blocks produces sounds from the blocks below them

The bug

When walking on a walkway of some thin blocks with a block beneath it, it sound like I'm walking on the block below. It's like the sound engine ignores the thin block.

Blocks affected:

  • Carpets (fixed in 22w44a)

  • Rails

  • Pressure plates (besides clicking, it still plays the walking sound from the block below)

  • Redstone Repeater

  • Redstone Comparator

  • Trapdoor

  • Lilypad (fixed in 22w44a)

  • Small Amethyst Bud (fixed in 22w44a)

  • Glow Lichen (fixed in 22w44a)

How to fix

Most of these blocks could be added to the #minecraft:inside_step_sound_blocks tag.
