@nanainanashi correct, same thought crossed my mind. That's why I’m not going to play until it’s fixed. It's hard to believe that kind of bug even made it through to the final product, I mean Mojang test their game before release, don't they?
@Vikonchiik I’ve attached a world with a simulated surface light level of 6 where this bug should happen nearly immediately. I’ve also attached a short clip of a few spawns happening in that world.
Still Happening in 26.50 I haven't played Minecraft for a year because of this bug that mysteriously kills my villagers with rare trades. Honestly, I don't think Mojang will ever fix it. I'm giving up hope today.
Any decent corporate professional would at least share some sort of progress update, yet they’ve stayed silent for nine whole months. It’s truly unbelievable.
Can confirm it is still on going. Lost multiple librarians to them spawning inside my entirely lit up and walled off desert village.
I found a possible workaround for this issue.
After creating a Behavior Pack and editing the spawn rules for the affected mobs—specifically changing "adjust_for_weather": true to "adjust_for_weather": false in the parameters for Zombies, Zombie Camels, and Husks—the incorrect spawning at higher light levels stopped.
Upon switching from "adjust_for_weather": true to "adjust_for_weather": false, the incorrect spawning ceased.
I am still conducting tests to determine if "adjust_for_weather" is truly the cause of the issue, but so far, the problem has simply disappeared.
Confirm (PS5). Same goes for the zombie horse raider, spawns at my bright-as-sun plains base
