Update: In my case, the problem has already been fixed

Since I submitted the report related to the main topic of this report a few hours ago, I've been waiting to see if anyone could share a solution or something. In the meantime, out of curiosity, I tried opening the launcher again, and it turns out everything is now fixed

I must say that before submitting the report, I independently investigated possible solutions such as deleting cache files, configuring settings, or even completely reinstalling both the launcher and the games. But when I saw that there was no solution, that's when I decided to submit the report

The launcher returned to its default state, where I had to put some options to their previous state, and the same thing happened with the Java Edition: not only did I have to configure it, but my survival world I had was also deleted, although it was just a world that was just starting, so I'm fine with that. With this last point, I just want to say that the solution was a matter of waiting, either due to technical issues that required time to return to normal or due to actions such as reinstalling the launcher. I just hope this experience has been of some use in determining whether it was a real error

I want to report that I'm also having this problem

Yesterday everything was fine. I was able to play Java Edition without any issues. But as of today, when I tried to play Java Edition, the launcher now detects that I don't have the Java version, when in fact, I do have it. I also have the Bedrock version, since I bought both in the "Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC” package

  • Image 1: I have purchased Java Edition, but I can't access it because, according to the launcher, I must buy it

[media]
  • Image 2: The only version I can play is Bedrock Edition, but I'm also experiencing some of the errors shown below (images 3 and 4)

[media]
  • Image 3: I can't access the skin menur; they keep loading indefinitely, and none of the options on the left side work

[media]
  • Image 4: In Bedrock Edition, I also can't access the Marketplace. I'm getting error D-0010, which, after investigating, is related to an internet outage. However, I haven't done anything out of the ordinary, so I don't understand why I'm getting these errors

[media]
  • Image 5: I also have an error when I log in with my Microsoft account to the official Minecraft page, where I mark in red a message that says that for a reason which is not explained to me, the minecoins balance cannot be loaded

Understood, thank you

Hello @MrMuskle thank you very much for the information, if this issue is intentional, then it's fine

I just want to add one more thing: before doing this report, I made sure to check if anyone had already reported the same or something similar, but I didn't find anything. I searched for the MC-153647 report you mentioned, and nothing came up except mine. I have no doubt that someone else has already reported it, and mine is considered a duplicate, but I find it confusing that MC-153647 doesn't even appear to me

I thought about creating a new report, but it seems this one is related to the case I'll present below:

Villagers can't get the job at the blast furnace; they stand in an incoherent position trying to reach the furnace

I've already witnessed the same situation in at least three villages. The villagers always stand in the same position, as shown in the following image:

[media]

What I consider an error here is that you don't need to do anything out of the ordinary for this to happen, you just need to be in a village with this type of construction; those where there is a blast furnace, and see the behavior of a villager when detecting said workstation. It appears to be a malfunction on the part of the villager script

If required (location where I took the screepshot):

Seed: 8194608090637870598

Coordinates: -382, 65, -983

Can confirm in 1.21.5

I don’t know if it’s intentional, but I can confirm the same issue in 1.21.5

Seed: -3729516728137482188

Coordinates: -5094, 57, -491

I've also noticed this issue, which I discovered by chance in my survival world. I confirm this issue in version 1.21.5

After reading and understanding the topic covered in this report by Migrated, it seems to be the same issue I've encountered several times, and I'm here because I want to present my case this time too

In the hardcore worlds where I've died, when I try to observe the world in the game over screen, it seems to have a problem loading the world/chunks, to the point that if I move out far enough, I completely stop seeing the world because it disappears. Also, if I exit the world from the menu and re-enter, the situation gets even worse, as the world simply no longer appears. I have to mention that in my hardcore world, I didn't activate any option other than playing in hardcore mode

I've attached a video in which I demonstrate the issue I'm referring to

[media]

If necessary, I'll explain the following to reproduce the issue. I don't know if this happens to other players

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a world in Hardcore mode

  2. Once generated, find a way to die so that the game over screen appears

  3. Once dead and on the game over screen, press the "View World" option

Error: When you spawn in spectator mode, the world around you is visible, however, if you head in a straight line in any direction you will see after a few seconds that the world will take a long time to load or nothing will appear at all

I want to confirm that this issue has also happened to me in version 1.21.4

Among the many fights I've had against skeletons, pillagers and piglins or even blazes, I've noticed for a while now that even though my reaction time is sufficient to stop a projectile with my shield, I still get hit because there seems to be a delay in the shield's functioning

As the user called Migrated mentioned above, the only case where the shield works is when you use it preemptively and wait for the skeleton to fire. But, again, running up to a skeleton and waiting until the last moment to block isn't possible, as the instant effective block doesn't work

Let's take the following example: I'm in the forest cutting down a tree, when suddenly I hear a skeleton behind me about to shoot me. When I quickly turn around and use my shield, I can clearly see that the arrow hasn't hit me yet, but upon impact I take damage as if I hadn't used the shield. This may be a little annoying and inconvenient

To conclude, I just want to say that in my opinion, protecting yourself with the shield is very good and it does its job, but I feel that the reaction to projectile attacks still needs to be improved

As already mentioned in this report, I want to say and confirm that I noticed too this issue in Java Edition version 1.21.4

Hello @flow_santohyj123

I've already seen the report you sent me, and the main reason I made this "duplicate" one is because despite having searched to see if anyone had already reported this issue, I didn't find anything since it doesn't appear for me. I must say that I also paid attention to the type of leaves on the tree as you said, but since it seems to be something that is inconsistent with the type of trunk, that's also a reason I wanted to make the report. But it seems to be something intentional... Hmm 🤔

☝️ To emphasize this report, I want to inform that this has also happened to me in version 1.21.4

I was able to take a screenshot of the case, but I forgot to note the seed and coordinates, but it is basically possible to encounter this type of natural generation. Previously there was a tree, but I cut it down, it was later when I noticed that there was a cocoa pod growing on a block of earth

[media]

Thank you

☝️ I almost forgot to mention that I discovered this issue unexpectedly in my survival world when I was raising turtles. Once I detected and investigated the issue, I decided to intentionally reproduce it in creative mode

Well, I can confirm this issue in version 1.21.4

But in my opinion, it could be intentional, since from my perspective, Phantoms have manta ray-like characteristics, allowing them to dive into the water, and their fin-like wings allow them to swim, making them excellent night hunters

It's up to Mojang to clarify whether this is intentional or not, etc

Ooh okay, good to know. Thank you, Avoma
