Happens on IOS with fences, walls, and trapdoors too. You’ll only break the block behind said hitbox block unless positioned in a specific way.
This is also the case with amethyst crystals, they used to be placable on walls
I’ve found turning off wifi, loading minecaft & entering a world, pressing iPad home button and turning on wifi, then returning to minecaft and exiting the world is a temporary but working solution. If sound isn’t working after this process just press home and wait a few seconds before going back into minecaft. If it ever gives you the red title screen after re-enabling wifi, repeat the process as the app has restarted and will crash again. This process should allow access to realms/servers again, but the marketplace won’t always work.

This doesn’t really hurt anyone though, the sus blocks lose their items when in item form. It’s only useful for decoration and triggering observers
So how do I turn this off? When I’m elytra gliding I don’t want to have to land just to get out of elytra fly mode.

To any mods seeing this: can you please try to confirm or deny this is what is happening in MCPE-165281. I posted it over a week ago and still it is untouched. It seems similar to this but I’m not sure.
I once had a giant savannah mountain with an exposed drip stone cave on it, and since it was above 200 it had snow there. Pretty annoying and I agree about if the precipitation changed to none thing.

So I just experienced this and Idk if this was regular this bug or new patch-related. (I play IOS) I stepped away from my iPad for a few minutes to check something else, (I didn’t leave the world)and when I returned, my world was not rendering. It was just all invisible except the signature glitched pink block in my hand and the blue conduit power particles. After moving around a bit, the world loaded back in to normal. Though for a split second it was pink and black. TL;DR went afk and came back to a glitched world not rendering in until I moved a bit
I’ve found it will work as it used to only with items in the hotbar section when in the inventory menu. Also tapping somewhere like the top block/item group name and in empty space at the end of row also works.
I’ve seen when you highlight a item in your inventory then tap on an item in the creative menu, it just highlights the one in the creative menu instead of getting rid of the one in your inventory
EDIT: When in the inventory menu only items in your hotbar can discarded to the creative menu, items in your other 3 inventory rows will do the weird highlight stuff.
Was trying to dry a shallow lakebed and found this also can be basically a lag machine if you have enough sponges. The particles of many sponges plus the water instantly flowing just to be fended back again is the reason I have to use commands instead of sponges.
In my experience it may be one of you either is in a different version or likely not activated the connected to the local network switch in device settings
What I understand from this is that y’all think wandering traders should have more spawning limitations, which I agree with. But also I personally think it makes sense for a something with no home, destination, or sense of direction to spawn in a cave or on a cliff. Just saying what I think about this.

As far as I know, this has been around farther than 1.17 and affects older content like the 2016 mashup, adventure time mash up, and many other old mashups and worlds. I’m surprised it has taken this long and still an official solution is yet to be added.
Still occurring in 1.21.0. Theirs is no toggle to use the old d-pad ui and the new one has fundamental differences from the old one. Why is this marked resolved?
