UI buttons and scrolling require double tap when Text To Speech is enabled

I've also had to double click buttons  not only in game, but also when the game is on the opening screen where you select store, play, etc. In game I'm unable to do anything that requires me to quickly switch items in hand because of this. 

Additionally, I'm unable to scroll anything, ie to get to lower lists in the store, the bottom row of chests or my inventory.

I just remembered the other new development. Although I've made no changes on my tablet there's now a voice reading aloud whatever is written on the game screen and saying how many items are in the Stacks I click in my inventory as well as that a button has been pressed.

Can you please tell me how it got fixed? It drives me crazy having to double click every button in the settings, but more so having no ability to scroll through inventory. Thanks in advance!

I can't believe this problem is this isolated. There's got to be more users having this issue. Can anyone reply?

I’m also having this issue but on my iPhone. I found that tapping once, then on the second tap scrolling up or down will allow you to scroll through the inventory and other things.

Oop seems I fixed it, go to Settings > Accessibility > Enable UI screen reader. Just double tap to turn it off and it’s fixed.
