Chunk generation temporary corrupted, causing invisible wall in world

17 Jan 19 - Thank you for everyone who has reported this issue. We are aware that this issue usually occurs after the player has been riding on a horse, and should only be affecting players in the 1.8 version of the game now.

This bug is fixed in the 1.9 beta, and the fix will be included in the 1.9 update when that is ready for full release (no specific date can be given). We will leave this ticket open as a point of reference until the fix has been fully released.

Normaiiy when you are generating chunks at a high speed :v some chunks just don't update correctly and nothing can go inside of those chunks and the mobs or entities in general are bugged and don't move, refreshing the chunks don't solve the problem and the entities that go inside the chunks (For example: Arrows or snowballs) are converted in bugged entities also.

You can't access to the chunk or chunks because a invisible wall is stopping you.

I forget to say that you can't undermine any block or interact with the entities inside of those chunks.

Also the problem is only fixed when you restart the game and is very annoying do that process, but bugs are normal and your work compensate those bugs. Thank you very much. šŸ™‚

Hello!, I make a video to show you how to reproduce the bugs.

Is private and was uploaded to my personal channel is not spam just for simplicity.

But, the steps to reproduce the bug and the bugs related to this bug are these:

1: Obtain a fast horse and run!.

2: Go away from your initial location at least the render distance configured in your game. (Was 5 in my case)

3: Return to the initial position where you begin the experiment and if you run a little bit more from the initial point against where you come in your first trip (Once you are there of course -after you have returned from the first trip) the bug appears.

this is happening in 1.9 chucks are very slow to load, and cashing invisible blocks to appearĀ 

I also have the same problem. I have an old world and the last blocks of the edge are invisible.

I can reproduce by going to the Nether and then leaving

@unknown: Would you be able to upload a copy of your world, preferably just before going to the Nether? A world that can reliably reproduce the issue would be a big help!

going to fast into unloaded chunks cause the invisible wall this can happen on any worldĀ 

going to the nether loads a new world so going back loads the whole wold again making unloaded

chunks.Ā
