Input delay / unresponsive controls after 1.21.111 update on mobile devices

i wonder when the fix is gonna happen. i know it's only been a couple of days but i was so excited to play with the new copper stuff 😔

That's a bug after the update, bro. Usually after an update like this there are always some bugs. I also experienced the same bug.

This happens to me too, the game has poor optimization in the new version and not to mention the touch controls on my Android, it's almost impossible to play with the delays in the controls.

I'm getting this problem too. It makes the game pretty much unplayable. I use a controller with my phone. Movements are out of my control. Hurry up and fix this please.

I'm also having the same problem, and it doesn't just affect touch, but also the keyboard and mouse. They're all slow to respond to interactions.

I also have the same problem whenever I move my screen or joystick the game just froze for bit it's really unplayable.

2. Are you using any peripherals (for example and external keyboard)?

3. In what world experience are you seeing this issue (multiplayer? singleplayer?)

4. Are you using any Marketplace content in the world?

Also which Graphics Mode you are using would be helpful.

Same issue here. The game is quite literally unplayable because of all the crazy lag. Even menu is laggy.

I can still play it but not as smoothly as before the update, constant ghost touch and micro freezes... I optimized it to the low settings (8 chucks, 4 render, simple)

Mega_Spud, thank you, In the latest hotfix the input delay seems to be reduced can you confirm you fixed that? The game feels responsive again like it used to be in .101

However the stutters are still there, the fps was so much more stable in .101 update, I feel like I switched from smooth bedrock to choppy java by updating to .111 and .113. The stutters are especially bad when generating new chunks.

True, the inputs and freezes have been noticeably reduced, but its still not bearable as you can notice it happening ever so often and it feels like I'm playing High graphics Minecraft on my potato pc, I was only able to record my Redmi Note 14 gameplay and it has simple graphics and a few add-ons, I did test it on a normal world but the issues still there

This really makes the game not playable

To help us isolate and track the issues being described, we’re going to use MCPE-228430to track issues related to the game freezing on mobile devices.

We will continue to use this ticket (MCPE-228420) to track issues related to input delay / responsiveness issues on mobile devices.

I have asked my friends and they are experiencing the same thing please fix it quickly

Fortunately this isnt a case on PC (Bedrock)

I still getting some lags (on my pc) but I guess thats by my weak GPU anyways

I’m also facing this issue on Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.113.1 — the input delay and unresponsive controls are still happening on mobile.

Device: Vivo (Funtouch OS 15, Android 15)

Version: 1.21.113.1

Issue: Movement, jumping, and attacking actions respond very slowly (around 1–2 seconds delay). The delay happens in both survival and creative modes, even in new worlds and offline.

I’ve already tried lowering graphics, clearing cache, and reinstalling — no improvement.

Please check if this problem is still persisting in the latest mobile update. 🙏
