Yes me too!! I think it's a glitch or something.

It's been happening for me too, especially in the marketplace. It happens WAAAAY too often in there.

If anyone has the same issue please vote we need your help! If you don't have the same issue please vote it's hard to play Minecraft!!

yea me too - once the settings menu got stuck on an infinite loop, where it kept repeating the last 1/2 second of background music, and I had to completely close the entire game!

this bug has been in the game since november

Glad I'm not the only one if anyone having issues like this please vote..

Added some of my screenshots of this issue

I'm having this issue too. Frequently getting the loading bar causing me to force close the game. Blocks mined will visually be there but I can walk through them. Walk into blocks at head height and start suffocating. The marketplace also never loads for me. I get in and there is just a little loading icon on every thumbnail and the section titles don't display properly. Please fix it soon.

This one is very similar to MCPE-109371. Wouldn't be surprised if it is the same. I'm starting to wonder if there's simply no support for the Nintendo Switch version, as these bugs make the game almost unplayable, but nobody has even officially verified that this is the case.

@Oliver, I do think that MCPE-109371 is the same issue

I am also having this issue on my switch. The only way to fix it is to close the software. Then it tell you an error occurred. Booting up the game again sometimes make it happen again when you try to access your worlds.

Happens on FireOS as well..

Thank y'all for voting this keep it up please!

I have multiple switches with multiple profiles on each. I've observed this same issue with only a few of those profiles. Startup time is unaffected by console, only profile game save. A new game on new profile will load normally.
My son likes to download everything he can from the marketplace and basically starts a new game every time he plays. I just have to delete his save file every so often, when it gets stuck on a load screen, so he can play again.
My own profile is slow to load, but remains playable. I limit what I add to my game and limit myself to 2 worlds. I've only had to delete my save once.
I experiment with other profiles to avoid corruption of my longest running game. I have found if I delete worlds within game, I can improve startup time for that profile. Marketplace downloads also negatively affect startup time, but I have not seen how to remove them besides deleting the profile save file.
It appears the save file limit for each profile is 2.0 GB. It seems as a profile reaches the limit, startup becomes longer.
Reducing profile save file size, appears to reduce startup load time.

Is this related to MCPE-105892?

This loading system shouldn’t be added and it causes a lot of issues

Everyone and their grandmother is having this issue, and Mojang isn't doing ANYTHING.
Recently the game stopped loading on my Switch altogether. The bugs are getting worse.
Ya'll need to vote for this. Keep it up, too. Its killing us.

i think its something to do in the Nintendo Switch's internal storage being faulty

@SeaDaisy691215 But why this never happenned before 2 latest updates?

@SearDaisy691215 This has nothing to do with storage in my opinion.. This thing bug I think kinda happend on my ipad before but it was fix before I could complain.. The issue seem to started during the last few bug fixes..

Please keep up the vote guys!!

This could be because the switch doesn't run quite as fast as an Xbox or PS4. I have noticed this, but I don't think that there is a way to fix it.

@HungryFordTPG (Josiah H) Nintendo Switch is not most powerful console but it should 100% run bedrock as good as PS4 and Xbox.. Minecraft bedrock is not heavy game..

@@unknown This is not about Switch's performance. It was fine before and nothing changed in Switch's hardware. It's also not an excuse or reason. Minecraft runs fine on old android phones without this issue.

In the recent days, I've been playing with what seems a workaround, at least to prevent this infinite loading screens (but block and audio lag still). I've noticed that they don't show when I play with the console in airplane mode, and if they do (which is very rare) the game doesn't get stuck as when the console is connected to internet.
I've tried to disconnect my Microsoft Account because of this, to keep my console connected while I play, but the load screen kept showing even when loged out, so I think this infinite bucle is somehow related with the internet connection and not with the account. And I gotta say that my internet is good, other games work perfectly. Idk, maybe Minecraft tries to obtain data from a server and can't reach it or something? Which is pretty odd, because it happens in local worlds, too.
For those that experience this issue in a world, does this affect any worlds in particular? (Perhaps larger saves rather than new ones?) If so, it might be useful to have a copy of the world to investigate.
On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)
If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.

minecraft is crashing a lot and does not load the chunks properly please fix it soon or I will be obliged to give a refund and when I go out of the world and click on pause the game takes 3 minutes to load to get out of the world

@@unknown I've experienced this on multiple worlds: both local and realms. As far as I know this doesn't break worlds, at least didn't happen to me. This is actually a Switch related issue if you noticed, so I don't have a way now to send you any copies of worlds. Try just playing on switch for a certain time with your account connected in online worlds and you will get the bug.

The same as Andrew, I've seen this happening in local worlds as much as in realms, no matter which world I'm playing in. And as I've said before, it is not necessary to be connected to a Microsoft Account to reproduce this bug. It seems that you only need to be connected to the internet, with account or not, that's why the airplane mode works so fine. Even in airplane mode, my account stills linked, and the bug doesn't happen.

What do we have to do to get a refund for this issue? It has been going on too long now and is VERY annoying.

Dear collegues,
I might have discovered why this is hapenning, but I would need your input on this to prove.
I think this is related to Nintendo Switch Online Cloud backup. It almost feels like the system is trying to backup save files while you're actually playing the game and it locks save files (and all your settings) and this causes some internal issues within the game and it shows us this great and annoying loading indicator.
What I did is disabled automatic backup for Minecraft in system settings and so far I haven't see that indicator.
I will keep on watching this, but please, try doing the same and answer these questions:
Do you have Nintendo Switch Online subscription?
Do you have automatic saved data backup enabled?
What is the size of your backup data for Minecraft? *
This also explains why this issue never happens in Flight mode - auto backup system just doesn't work without internet and Minecraft works fine.
Please, answer this comment and ask your friends to vote for this issue.
The size of my backup data for Minecraft is 1,4 GB! Which means nintendo is trying to upload such amount every time! You can see that the save data for other games is dramatically smaller!

I did what Andrew mentions, and fortunately, I am not seeing that loading screen again. My saved data was 1.8GB, so yes, the console was trying to upload that amount everytime I play, causing this "infinite" bucle.
Not sure why the saved data of Minecraft is so huge, but I hope Mojang do something about it, because it stills causing block and audio lag when the game autosaves, and we cannot disable that.

I believe you may be on to something. I have reduced my save from 1.8GB to 1.5GB by deleting marketplace content and disabled automatic backup. I do occasionally have crashes and lag happen during auto saves. I have a Nintendo Sub but not realms.

Thanks for trying this out guys.
Unfortunately I finally got that loading error as well, but it was totally fine for around 5 days.
Actually, I did clean up the content and deleted old worlds before that. Maybe there is some connection.

I know its not that cause I before didn't have Nintendo online then it still loaded like that.. I feel like its go something to do with Microsoft accounts but that is just my opinion..

I was thinking that this might also be a problem related to the fact that Switch is not optimised for such big save files? Mine is 2GB and maybe it's too big for the console to handle and gets stuck in the process? But I also don't want to be restricted in world size, hopefully Mojang is onto this problem and will resolve it very soon

My Nintendo Switch 4GB I didn't know 2GB one exist woah??

The maximum save file size has been limited to 2GB by Mojang. When you reach the limit through world size or dlc you start receiving warnings that the game is out of space. It is unaffected by system storage.

I never got a warning, I only get this annoying bug that sometimes the menu would never load

Minecraft was running *seamlessly before the 1.16 update. I have to close and re-open Minecraft App on my switch multiple times before getting into a world. Loading bar pops up when opening chests and inventory. Hope it gets fixed in next update!

Nintendo Switch been smooth sail since 1.16 update probably won't get this fix until weeks before the Cave and Cliffs Update...

This needs to be fixed. It's driving me crazy!! Whenever this happens, I have to leave the game resulting in it crashing.

This has been going on for me for months. I keep playing because I'm a bit addicted, but it's been driving me and my husband nuts. He plays on his iPad and doesn't have these issues, and that's not even designed to run games like this!

Glad we're getting more votes on this every day. Everybody, please, keep spreading this around your friends, every switch player should vote for this

This happens to me too. Even just booting the game up takes awhile.

Sad, the game worked fine in 1.15

This has been driving me CRAZY for weeks. So much googling for this issue and I'm so glad I have finally found it. This is such an inconvenience having to restart my software every 15 to 20 minutes.

Facing this issue so many times and looking at how my wife plays on the same switch but with an account not connected to online (neither Nintendo nor Microsoft) without any issues, I think it's safe to say that this issue is related to the Microsoft (or maybe Nintendo) account connection.

I have had the same problem since downloading the game for the first time only about 2 weeks ago.
I have only ever played on a friends realm and systematically get 'loading bars' on screen when trying to open a chest/menu. I can still move around the world but general animation stops working ie. opening doors/gates. The sounds work and i can hear the gates and doors moving but the animation for them does not work. Textures start to break and become transparent - when down a mine for instance, i can see through walls or to the surface of the world. Also, if i place a block, it doesn't render in the world. although the outline around the new block does appear. inversely if i destroy a block, it remains rendered but i can walk through it.
Another interesting note that i have not seen elsewhere in this ticket is that when i try and connect to the world after the booting the game up, i get a message saying "unable to connect to the world. please check your connection to the internet and try again." the second time i try and connect it generally loads the realm.
It's such a great game and enjoyable on switch so i hope this gets resolved soon. Looking at the age of this ticket tho and the amount of people reporting this problem, i'm not holding my breath!

I know that they like these comments to be exclusively for adding further information to the additional bug report, but it's INCREDIBLY frustrating that Mojang seem to be completely ignoring the fact that their game is almost unplayable on a product that they continue to sell, and that pre-existing customers have been completely ignored when we try to raise these issues. For context, my partner also raised this by email and received an incorrect response to suggest that our network has issues (it doesn't) and that we read some FAQs (which we already had). I absolutely love Minecraft as a game, but sadly this customer support is appalling. We're not beta testers. We have paid for this game, and for subscriptions, and we rightly expect that it should work.

The more votes, the quicker this gets resolved.

This is a huge issue. Really wish it would get resolved. Several folks i play with on the switch, just have had to stop playing for what feels like weeks. Because either we get stuck in the little load bars just starting up the game, or we play and make the mistake of opening a chest, shulker, ender chest. Often i get stuck just opening my own inventory. I find that sometimes i can force the game to catch up if i move my character a few chunks away. But that only works if im luck enough to be able to. If im in a space that requires a door to open or me to flip a lever for redstone to work then no luck. Im stuck waiting out, maybe restarting the game. If im lucky i can play, most the time its unplayable.

People don't get wild but you have the right to be upset this is taking too long in my opinion..

I've found it happens to me much more on servers or while playing multiplayer via Internet. If you're in a single-player game, hold the home button, go down to Airplane Mode, and turn it on. It's ridiculous that this hasn't been solved. I can't even play bedwars.

I agree! If I would of know the switch version had so many problems I would not have purchased it on that console. My bf and I play cross platform from the switch to the ps4 and he never has this problem. It’s very annoying and I’ve been asking for a refund because I just purchased it a week ago and no one will listen or help. I reached out on Twitter, email and this forum but all they did was close my ticket and send me here and no one responded to my email or tweet. At this point I just want my money back but no one is helping, it’s terrible. Worse gamer glitch since assassins creed back on the ps3

I'm amazed by all of this. The least Mojang could do is acknowledge the issues. They might then consider apologising to people for selling them a faulty product, and thank people on these forums for doing their jobs for them and investigating the bugs. Instead, it's complete silence. Absolutely no ownership of the situation at all. The best game of all time (when it works) combined with the worst customer service. What a shame.

Just wanted to let people know that I've sort of found a slight fix. All I did was turn off Auto Cloud Save Backups for Minecraft on the Switch and it works much more smoothly for me. The only time I notice the annoying loading bars returning is if I linger on Minecraft's main menu for too long or look in the Minecraft marketplace. I haven't tested online with friends yet but single player wise it's been working great. I've tested single player like this for about a Week now and I haven't been experiencing the loading bars at all except for the aforementioned Main menu/marketplace.

I'm still stunned at how little publicity this problem has considering it's been around for months. Also that Mojang haven't really acknowledged they are working on/close to fixing this. On switch, realms is unusable.
Please head over to Twitter and retweet. I feel like the community needs to make a bit more noise for this to get some traction and put some pressure on Mojang

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I notice I get a texture glitch as well where certain sides of blocks dont appear and you can see straight through them. Switch is incredibly unstable and it needs to be fixed! I appreciate it wont happen overnight but it would be nice to know that switch players are being looked after!

If you are just standing still you probably wont, but I find If i find a ledge/cliff it's quite obvious

It's probably a bug, and Mojang is probably trying to include all other bugs and this bug into one update. Kinda explains why there hasn't been an update in a long time. If a new update comes out and they haven't fixed it that means Mojang doesn't care.

I did find a "workaround" for this issue. If you can move while its loading, keep moving away from stuff until it loads up. I have this issue with my redstone experiment world.

Acidgamer I think I did that before but sometimes it can make the world so glitchy..

I've contacted Nintendo and they've reported the bug straight to Mojang. Let's just hope this gets fixed soon...

Reporting this to Nintendo is like calling the roads and highways agency when you're car breaks down....good that they know but it's not their responsibility to fix it. All the heat needs to be directed at Mojang. This is their game and therefore their problem. I have tried tweeting this to generate a bit more attention but we really need to put some pressure on Mojang.
This issue is 'Open' and not even in progress.... this indicates that they are not yet working on it!

Well in order for this to be flipped to 'confirmed', the bug needs to be reproduced by a helper or moderator.
The fact that so much of the community has reported this and it has not been checked/reproduced by a mod or helper, mindboggling. I get the error every time i try and connect to a realm.

That's assuming you can actually get on to a world/realm. Most of the time, i get stuck at the loading screen.

@Brad S if you leave it on minecraft, reboot it otherwise nothing will work, and if it still doesn't work, reboot your switch. that's what works for me

@Connor Saysell - yeah thanks i have tried that. If if doesn't connect normally i have to force quit the game then i get a crash error report.

Sorry about that, but do you have any information on when we can expect this fixed/ addressed?

I can confirm this issue persists. Additional notes that may be helpful.
I attempted the suggestions of turning off Cloud Save Auto Update. Like others, this did not resolve the issue.
This occurs for both Realms and non-Realms multi-player games.
This occurs while Switch is in handheld or docked.
This occurs while on WiFi or Ethernet connection.
This occurs regardless if there is one player or multiple players.
Cheers.

Do we have an idea of what additional notes they want? If so I'm sure we can help

There is also a problem with some dimensions of the blocks which are transparent, like an Xray glitch (please don't fix this bug when 1.17 comes on Nintendo Switch, we are already wainting since FOUR MONTHS !!!

@Herbubulle Yes, that occurs to me during the loading. Also everyone, please be patient, I agree this is absolutely ridiculous but still, for now we just need to try our best to get Mojang's attention and to just be patient. They haven't responded to the 10 support tickets I've submitted in over the past 2 or so months. Even Nintendo wasn't aware of this. For now just be patient and if it's not addressed by Mojang by the middle of March, then we can start complaining. At least I will.

Also finally, I've found that the more lag causing things that exist in the world, let's say you got like 20 armor stands, a cow farm, and a repeating redstone contraption, It will occur more often. I tested this and it occured a lot more often in the chunk with my mass cow farm and my dog army's house with the dog army inside.

I get that this isn’t a forum for “discussion” but we as paying consumers have no where else to go. This post has been open since December 2020 and NO ONE has given us an update on if this is being looked into, any other troubleshooting steps or even commented to apologize for the delay. Mojang has yet to acknowledge this issue anywhere publicly, I’d say there’s a lack of customer service and general empathy towards us. While this may not be intentional, you must understand how this is being perceived. Remember, no response is a response.
So while many of us are sitting and waiting it leaves a bad taste and looks bad on those who we thought would help us.

If the mods or devs need more notes. Here you go. It happens often when on servers, and especially when loading into a whole new area, like coming back from the nether, or going into the End.
Thank you for your patience everyone. Just a reminder that this is a bug tracker and not a forum for discussion or feedback, and we appreciate the new useful comments which help to narrow down the problem.
Please be assured we are actively working on the issue, and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

What updates are you guys talking about? When I turn on my switch and look for updates it says it’s up to date and the SAME issue persists. 😩😩
Is this still an issue in the latest version that was released today?

The issue is still there worse than ever!

@Mega_Spud for me (nintendo switch) I still gotta wait forever for the game to startup (Approximately 22.1 minutes), I still get the loading bar issue (but not as much), and it still takes forever to join, create, and leave worlds. The only thing that improved was I think the game is starting to run faster, because my game used to run very slow, but now it feels like things like overall movement, and the load bar when there is a lag error on a world seems to load faster. From my perspective (as someone who has had these issues since 2017) you guys are on the right track! 🙂

@mega_spud i have tried logging in twice now to my online realm (on Switch) and it has worked both times as opposed to before where i just simply couldn't log in.

This is still an issue when playing on the switch in the latest update 1.16.210.
I was able to play on realms but still got this loading bar when opening menus and chests.
Aside from this bug, i can see other improvements such as the responsiveness of the UI is overall much better.
Login and startup feel slightly quicker but I have not timed it yet.

Still an issue with the new update. I hoped it would fix it, but it did not. This picture is from tonight at 9:30pm est.

(1.16.210) WE STILL CAN'T PLAY !!! It's horrible !!!
Thanks to mention the bug in the changelog but PLEASE fix it we CAN'T play like 30minutes in my Realm or server without this bar happend... its SO annoying DO SOMETHING !! Please !! :'c
i have to restart my game like 10 times in 2-3 hours in game... you can't just update Nintendo Switch to the same version as PC ? just change controls or idk but its ONLY on Switch, i play on computer (not a lot, i don't have a mouse) and Mobile and they don't have this bug, it's ONLY on Nintendo Switch... :/
Thanks for information so far - to help us investigate this, could you please let us know the following:
Do you have cloud saves enabled when you experience this? If so, what happens when you disable cloud saves?
Are you playing on a Realm when you experience this? If so, what happens when you play locally?
What happens when you turn WiFi off on your device?
Are you using an SD card? What happens when you remove the SD card and install/play directly on the device storage?

1- it was happening before I started using cloud saves, I only enabled it after to back up my data to see if clearing it helped. It didn't effect one way or the other
2- it's worst on the realm, but does happen occasionally in single player
3- single player is considerably smoother and faster without internet
4- haven't tried yet
Also- others have pointed out, and I have also noticed, that the shop has been bugged as well (black with purple squares, pages not loading), and sometimes closing and re opening the shop until it works gets the realm to as well. Could be unconnected or maybe not 🤷
Hope any of that helps

I just disabled it a few months ago. It improved a bit, but the loading bar stills showing up occasionally.
Currently I'm not playing offline, only in a realm. I do this to avoid other issue related to the autosave feature lagging the sound and game in general. But the bar also appears in offline mode.
When played offline, flight mode helped me to play smoothly again...until the game tried to autosave. Then it all became laggy and unplayable.
I have my game storaged in a microSD Card, I'll try to move it to internal storage and see what happens.

Thanks for information so far - to help us investigate this, could you please let us know the following:
No I do not have cloud saves enabled
Mostly when I’m playing on realms but has happened a few times on my own world offline
I can’t play realms without WiFi.
No I am not using an sd card.
(the issue happens on all 3 of my Nintendo switches)

It also happens when I am at the main menu and I click “play”. I have to close out the game and restart my switch. The video below shows this happening just now at around 8:30 pm est on 3/11/21.
[media]

-I have 2 profiles on my Switch : One with save cloud, and one without (i have the bug on all profiles)
-it rarely happens on a solo survival, but it happens, I also have it a lot on Realms (Example: I am at a farm and I return in elytra to my base which is about 600 blocks, when I open a my base I am blocked and the chunks are badly loaded (I see the mobs / armor stand) but not the blocks)
I also have this bug A LOT on servers like CubeCraft Games, I have to relaunch my game ten times in 2 hours of gameplay...
-I still have sometime the bug in flight mode, not a lot but yesterday, i played 2hours without wifi on my songleplayer world and I've had only une time this bug, i was destroying a giant mountain and a lot of items were on the floor, I had to wait around 30s
-I'm not using SD Card, but honestly I don't think that fixes the problem :/
(By the way, im using a render distance of 9)

1. No, I turned it off a long time ago.
2. It happens only on online playing, local playing, and even offline playing somehow! I have yet to play on realms because the most recent update isn't letting me join realms because of outdated client.
3. I still get lag when I remove wifi. If anything it's worse, especially when launching the game.
4. I do use an SD card. When I tried to remove it and transfer the game to my system. The game would no longer launch. It would always crash before the Mojang logo pops up after 30 minutes. So i transferred back to my SD card after putting in back in. It launches, still takes forever. And now I'm back to having the major lag issues I had before the recent hotfix.

I've been playing in most recent updates and the issue is still there!
I tried it on Realms and it hapenned to me both in game and even on the start screen.
I do have cloud backup enabled now, but I tried it with disabled - same
Realms, this is what I play now. I know my wife doesn't get it on same switch, but her user is not connected to microsoft/nintendo account.
I can’t play realms without WiFi.
I'm using SD card and I tried installing Minecraft on internal memory - same issue.

...still loading...

Why do I feel like it's gotten worse

I do want to add that chests/crafting has gotten significantly better than it's ever been. Super smooth and barely any loading. Loading into the game is still pretty bad tho
I'm on switch

LOL I hope this is a joke hahaha
it only got worse with 1.16.210 in multiplayer (especially servers / Realms)

It's still happening to me. It seemed to have been fixed with the update (though I was on a new Realm) and now I've been sitting here for 2 minutes trying to open a barrel.

Its been even worse lately to wear it doesn't stop loading so when I go to close the software it gives me an error message

I was playing Cubecraft Lucky Blocks and Skywars, I had a useful item in my inventory, I wanted to switch it, and the inventory took FoReVeR to load and I even got killed by the enemy because I had to wait.
Edit: Also occurs on Apple iPad, the device I'm playing.

texture glitch with loading.jpg also has a bug with the blocks

An example of infinite loading screens (occurs on Switch and Mobile, probably a CPU/IO problem). which occurs after leaving the game on the title screen for a few minutes.
The loading screen stops after a few minutes, but may start again when a world is loaded.

Yeah I stopped paying for my realms due to how unplayable the game gets for me and my friends.

I've nearly reached my tipping point for cancelling my Realms, too, and I've already had to warn others about the problems with Minecraft on the Switch.
It's a shame it's too late for me to get a refund for the game itself.

Minecraft bedrock edition is in a sad state on Nintendo Switch. I can play my realm on PS4 with (a couple hours of play) no issues but on Switch, I have to close Minecraft and REBOOT my switch because Minecraft on switch has some sort of memory leak or major issue causing the wait/loading screen animation to come up and stop my play. I died in the Nether on a nether fortress because of this bug froze up my ability to use my weapons - I tried blocking myself in but a little magma cube found me - I had to close the game and reopened and sure enough I was dead. Thankfully I had a respawn anchor near by. This wait/loading issue has been going on forever on the switch and needs resolved. This bug is realm independent as it's a core issue with the Minecraft bedrock software running on Nintendo Switch.

Guess what, me again!
I love redstone and now I cant even do that! Some of my most reliable contraptions dont work anymore because of lag.
The other day the only way we could play was because of an 'outdated client'. Both were on the latest version (1.16.210) and we tried updating and nothing worked.
If I leave my game running for more than 0.3 seconds without doing anything then I have to reboot my game. Considering this is my main way of playing minecraft,it is very disappointing that some days it is unplayable. It's my most played game and I'm playing it less and less because of this bug. Whenever the next update is, it better be fixed because its ridiculous at this point

Occurs before 1.16.220. Actually on 1.16.200. I also think it’s on 1.16.100. I was gonna report this but I din’t have an account here.

I think it is because of lag issues

this has been happening to me a lot since the last update but it's gotten real bad over the past couple weeks. I will be playing and I go to access the menu, open a chest, open my inventory, or open the chat and suddenly it stays stuck on a loading screen for a very long time. then there's been times when this is happening and at the same time the world sort of glitches and I can sort of see through the walls and underground or the screen will just show placed items but not the actual terrain. (this also happens when I first enter a world but usually the world loads after a few seconds but the random severe lagging comes later). I know it can't be my internet because the signal strength is strong and this just happens randomly. after the game usually crashes after lagging for a few minutes. I'm on switch lite by the way.
UPDATE 4/21/2021: issue hasn't been fixed at all with the last update. they said it was fixed but it was a total lie (to me anyway). maybe it helped some but not all users. some on other social have posted the problem was fixed for them but I'm still experiencing it.

I realized that when the loading gets stuck like that, when I try to close the game and it crashes it won't work unless I restart the console (Switch)
Not putting it on sleep and turning it back on but shutting it down and starting it again, unless I do that, the game won't work at all

Mine hasn't acted up since the latest update! Now my skins won't stay loaded but I guess that's a separate problem. I'm on switch btw

Mine hasn't acted up as well! I'll play some more and give more feedback in case needed

It happens on my iOS too, sometimes.

I'm still having the problem. I'm also experiencing the skins not loading properly from time to time as it takes another couple minutes for them to load properly but at least that problem was somewhat fixed with the last update. some have said the problem was fixed for them but I think it's people playing on other console systems or PC bedrock (windows 10) version.

This also occurs on devices which are affected by MCPE-124058

I'm having the same problem as well as another one like it where i look at a large amount of bamboo or glass in one area it does a huge glitch that makes all the chunks act weird and all the UI to dissapear and then I have to exit the game, rejoin and look away from the stuff that caused it and it happens on servers the most witch is annoying.

This happens on my Xbox one too, i have an downloaded world with resource and behavior packs. and this happens when i try to open the player list

I’m having the same issue on the switch. It took 10 min to get to the red Mojave logo and now it won’t even get to that and is stuck as a black screen.

Nick D: the black screen on startup on Switch is tracked at MCPE-62708. This ticket is not about game startup, it's about the small loading bars shown in the attached screenshots.

After updating to 1.17.30 on my iPhone I am seeing the loading bar every time I open a world.
Resolving this issue as we believe it is fixed in the latest version.

It is not fixed. It took me five minutes to load world setting ingame. 3 minutes to open the pause menu, and another 2 for the setting menu. It is more common for the first couple minute after loading the world, but it doesn't stop after that. Its just less common. 1.19.2 on Nintendo Switch.

1st how big is the world size because the bigger the world is the longer it takes to load because i have a 200mb world that takes a while to load but looking at whats happening your game has glitched and you need to close it because something didnt load right also the other guy with the black screen when opening the game on switch you need to backup your data then delete save data then load it in again because i had the same issue but i was stupid not to backup everything and R.I.P worlds

Joshua Solares: please make a new report.
